Strawberry UK growing season & Planting

We despatch mail order strawberry plants all year round, usually within 3-5 working days of receipt. Trees are supplied bare-root Autumn-Spring and in containers/ex container from late Spring to Autumn.

WHEN TO PLANT STRAWBERRY PLANTS

You can plant strawberries outside at any time of year. Strawberries can establish well all year round as long as the soil is drained and workable. Pot grown plants are best from Spring to Autumn. During the dormant season overwinter bare root runners are traditionally planted.

First Crop – can be expected the first full season following planting.
